Mission Work in Haiti

Grace Covenant has been doing mission work in Haiti since 1997. We work with pastors and churches, schools (education), youth ministry, medical outreaches, clean water projects (wells), leadership development and economic development. We have been working through our Haitian Ministry Director, Raquens Turenne.

We also have mission teams which go and serve into churches, schools and projects. Churches and Leadership Development We have four churches which are part of Grace Covenant in Haiti (L'Allaince de la Grace). Only a monthly basis Pastor Raquens gathers the leadership of the churches together for fellowship, encouragement, equipping and coordination of ministry events.

As God leads we are working to plant new churches and we are open to adopt other established independent churches into our Grace Covenant of Haiti network.

Youth Investment

Each year we collaborate with our Haitian pastors to conduct a youth retreat. We send a mission team of people to Haiti to serve into this event. It is a strong investment in the next generation in Haiti.

Clean Water Projects

We are helping the Haitian people by digging clean water wells. In Haiti, 50% of the people do not have access to clean water. This makes them subject to a number of severe health issues. Working through one of our GC ministries, VisionVestors, we are actively establishing clean water projects to bring life-giving water to hundreds of people in their communities.

VisionVestors is a Grace Covenant ministry which serves practical needs in the love of Christ.

Schools

In Haiti there is very little public education. Churches often try to provide for this need by having a school in the church. We assist the schools in our churches by helping with school supplies and other assistance.

Mission Teams

Each year, we send mission teams to Haiti to serve into our ministry and practical projects. If you are interested, please see our Mission Team tab on this website or contact the GC office for more information.
